About the Admissions Process
The admissions process involves a combination of paperwork, financial agreements, insurance verifications, and a psychological evaluation. To ensure a smooth admissions and intake process, it is helpful to understand the various steps.
Admissions Includes
Paperwork
During this step you will complete the pre-admission paperwork. The admissions packet includes the application for admittance to the program, consent forms, medical release forms, and confidentiality agreements.
Insurance
Our admissions department will verify your insurance benefits and review any co-payments with you to ensure all financial concerns or questions are addressed.
Review
Each patient receives a list of permissible belongings to pack for their stay at the treatment center. The admissions team will verify that the packing guidelines have been adhered to.
About the Evaluation and Intake Process
A clinician will conduct an in-depth interview as the initial step in developing an individualized treatment plan. During this conversation, the clinician asks detailed questions about your presenting symptoms, chronic symptoms, cognitive functioning, physical and mental health histories.
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation ensures the treatment team receives an accurate picture of the underlying factors and any co-occurring mental health disorders.
Diagnostic tools include the oral interview and any relevant psychological assessments. Based on the gathered information, a diagnosis and tailored treatment plan are created to guide the treatment process.

Orientation and Treatment Engagement
Once the admissions and intake process has been completed, you will be welcomed into the treatment center. A team member conducts an orientation to show you around the facility, to your room, and to generally familiarize you with our program.
The team member explains the program’s structure and guidelines, and also provides you with a schedule of program activities and therapy sessions. Once you have settled in, you can begin participating in the many treatment activities we offer.
